Rechat wants to capture every client conversation — and turn it into data

Rechat has launched a new AI-powered feature designed to capture and organize one of the most fragmented parts of an agent’s workflow: conversations.

The brokerage platform’s latest release, AI Memo, is a native conversation intelligence tool that records, transcribes and structures client interactions, whether they happen in a formal meeting, during a showing or as a quick voice note after the fact. The feature is available immediately to all users at no additional cost.

Built for how agents actually work

Unlike traditional note-taking or transcription tools, AI Memo is designed for the off-the-desk nature of real estate work.

“Real estate does not happen at a desk, and it does not happen in neatly scheduled meetings,” said Shayan Hamidi, founder and CEO of Rechat. “It happens in kitchens, in cars, after showings, and between appointments. AI Memo was built for that reality.”

Agents can either record conversations live — with client permission — or dictate voice memos after an interaction. The system then converts those inputs into structured summaries, key takeaways and suggested next steps.

That distinction is central. Rather than delivering raw transcripts, AI Memo focuses on producing actionable outputs directly tied to contacts and deals within the platform.

From notes to coaching

At the core of the feature is “Lucy Insight,” an embedded AI coaching layer that analyzes conversations and offers feedback.

The system surfaces missed opportunities, suggests follow-up strategies and provides guidance on how agents can improve their positioning with clients, effectively turning each interaction into a learning moment.

“The agents who win client relationships aren’t the ones with better memory,” said Audie Chamberlain, vice president of strategic growth and communications at Rechat. “They’re the ones with better systems. AI Memo is that system, and because it lives inside Rechat, there’s nothing new to learn, no new app to download, and no additional cost.”

Solving a familiar pain point

The feature targets a longstanding challenge in the industry: information loss.

According to research cited by the company, people forget roughly half of what’s said in a conversation within an hour, and up to 70 percent by the next day. For agents juggling multiple clients, showings and calls, those gaps can translate into missed follow-ups and lost deals.

“Research shows people speak three times faster than they type,” said Emil Sedgh, Chief Technology Officer at Rechat. “AI Memo’s voice dictation puts that speed to work after showings, open houses, and any conversation that never happens on a screen.”

By embedding the tool directly into its platform, Rechat is also attempting to eliminate friction common in standalone solutions, which often require separate apps, manual uploads or CRM integration.

Because AI Memo is built into Rechat’s existing system, notes are automatically linked to the appropriate contact, deal and marketing records. There’s no need for copy-pasting or third-party integrations.

The company is making the feature available without an additional subscription fee. It’s a notable move as vendors compete to bundle AI capabilities into core platforms rather than sell them as add-ons.

Every conversation becomes data

Rechat has positioned itself as an “AI operating system” for brokerages, combining marketing, CRM, transaction management and communications into a single platform. AI Memo extends that strategy into one of the most analog parts of the business: human conversation.

If successful, tools like AI Memo could reshape how agents capture institutional knowledge, turning informal, often fleeting interactions into structured data that can be analyzed, reused and improved over time.

For an industry still heavily dependent on personal relationships and in-person interactions, that shift could be significant.
