“The Night Agent” Season 3 is springing back into action soon, confirms Netflix.
“You’ve been granted security clearance for newly announced intelligence: The Night Agent will return for Season 3 on February 19th,” the streamer writes on Tudum.
There's plenty to look forward to. The highly anticipated next instalment of the popular spy drama will, according to series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Shawn Ryan, be “an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride.”
...“Peter grapples with a dangerous conspiracy at the heart of the White House,” says Ryan of the dangers that await Agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso).
As well as that, Ryan says Sutherland will have to deal with “a dogged reporter with a hot tip and a murky past, a murder suspect trying to clear his name, a mysterious father and son leaving a trail of bodies in their wake, old friends in danger, a collection of familiar and new foes, and a new partner who could be his salvation — or his doom.”
Sutherland will have his work cut out this season. One preview clip shows a gripping action sequence set in a packed soccer stadium.
Here our agent must escort his target, a young treasury agent with sensitive intel played by series newcomer Suraj Sharma, to safety. That involves a hectic chase against armed assailants followed by a hard-hitting fight sequence.
