As we are about to start Super Bowl LX week between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, Tom Brady gave out a slew of awards on social media for some of the brightest stars in the game.

It came down to the final honor of the series, Player of the Year, and he and his producer joked that this was bigger than the MVP award that would be given out this coming Thursday.

In that MVP fight, it's a two-horse race between veteran and young gun. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford had the best season of his 17-year career. His biggest challenger is a QB that will be in the Super Bowl, Drake Maye, on Brady's former Patriots team.

In the video, Brady cast his vote for Stafford, citing that he had done everything possible to lift his team throughout the season.

"He had his main guys go down a few times," Brady said in the video posted by FOX Sports. "Puka [Nacua] was down. Davante [Adams] was down. And he always found ways to produce an incredible touchdown-interception ratio. He was absurd."

Although picking Stafford over Maye isn't seen as a slight at all, the two neck and neck when it comes to stats and overall play, that isn't the issue some Patriots fans had with the video.

After giving Stafford his flowers, he mentioned wanting to give two extra shout-outs for honorable mentions for the award.

Buffalo Bills' running back James Cook and Seattle Seahawks top wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

No mention of Maye in the entire video, as Brady closed by saying how fantastic it was to travel across the country to watch the players in the NFL.

Brady honored Patriots head coach and former teammate Mike Vrabel, who he said was one of his four picks for Coach of the Year.
