Phoenix stopped the Cleveland Cavaliers’ five-game winning streak on Friday night, securing a 126-113 victory behind 27 points from Dillon Brooks, who has scored 29.8 points per game in his last four outings. Jordan Goodwin came off the bench for 17 points and three steals while Collin Gillespie finished with 16 points. Mark Williams added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Suns.

The Clippers fell victim to the return of Nikola Jokić on Friday night in a 122-109 road loss to the Denver Nuggets that stopped LA’s three-game winning streak. The Clippers, who are 16-4 since Dec. 20, got 25 points and nine assists from James Harden while Kawhi Leonard scored 21 points. Ivica Zubac chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds, and John Collins dropped 18 points.

The Suns have taken two of three from LA this season, all early in the season. Brooks averages 21.1 points for Phoenix, with Grayson Allen scoring 16.4 points per game, Gillespie posting 13.5 points and 4.7 assists a night, and Williams booking 12.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per contest. Leonard averages 27.7 points and 2.1 steals for the Clippers, while Harden puts up 25.4 points and 8.1 assists per game, and Zubac contributes 14.6 points and 10.8 boards an outing.
